Take bookings for fundraising events through your website!
Does your organisation run fundraising events? Promoting them on your website and selling tickets online can be a great way of making sure that events sell out fast – and it is easier to set up than you might think.
SCIP have recently helped one of our clients, MindOut, add the ability for visitors to their website to book places for their Fundraising Fire Walk and the Brighton Marathon Weekend. We added some easy to use online forms and a Paypal / debit card facility, and now people can register at any time of the day or night. The MindOut team receive emails with registrants’ details, and can export information collected securely behind the scenes for their statistics and event management.
Likewise, places for the Friends of Sussex Hospices’ “Hospice Trail” are selling like hotcakes due to the online booking system created by SCIP. When a sponsored walk has been fully booked, the website ‘knows’ and stops making tickets available for purchase. This frees up the valuable time of the volunteers running the Trail.
